Your generosity remains a vote of confidence in our efforts to provide the very best in Catholic education and to help our students become well-educated, free and responsible young adults with strong Christian values.

Your gift to the Holy Name Annual Fund will support among other things: our Endowment Fund, financial aid, scholarships, maintenance of buildings and grounds, computer technology, school security, the Arts Department, the Athletic Department, wind turbine maintenance, and general operational expenses.

What is Annual Giving?

Annual Giving is the financial lifeblood of any school. It helps to sustain programs and activities that are not covered by tuition. Simply, annual giving is the best way possible for alumni, parents, parents of alumni and friends to help make a difference in the future of Holy Name.

Why is Annual Giving necessary?

Holy Name students need and deserve your support. Our annual giving program is necessary to sustain the life of the school through enriched academic programs, faculty development and overall operating expenses. Additionally, annual giving helps build our Endowment Fund which ensures the future of our school. Truly, an annual gift is a vote of confidence in Holy Name.

Why not just raise tuition rather than solicit gifts?

Because frankly, tuition funds adequacy - Annual Giving funds excellence. Although raising tuition would generate a certain level of revenue, we know it will not solve the on-going needs the school faces. Besides, in order to generate the total support necessary, we would have to make a substantial increase in tuition. Such an increase would put an education at Holy Name out of the reach of many families. Additionally, most academic institutions rely on an annual giving model to sustain their programs. By giving, you have the opportunity to support the mission of the school at a level you feel comfortable with and receive a tax deduction to the fullest extent provided by law.

Why me?

We realize there are numerous requests for your charitable donation. You might ask: Why should I give to Holy Name? The answer is simple. Holy Name is worth your additional investment. Your gift to Holy Name assures that we can fulfill our mission and keep our eyes clearly focused on the future of this outstanding school.

You do make a difference!

Your past gifts have enabled us to do so much! Support from you has helped us raise the funds necessary to complete the "Field of Dreams", move forward with a plan to build a new Junior High building, purchase computers for the library and purchase new laboratory equipment for the science labs. Additionally, it helped fund our arts program, upgrade our security system, provide a safe environment for our students and so much more. Whether your generosity went towards the Annual Fund, a Scholarship or Memorial Fund, the Athletic Field Fund or the general fund, it made a difference in the lives of our students. For those of you who have been faithful contributors to the Annual Fund, thank you. Your gifts have provided the foundation upon which tomorrow's generations will build their futures. If you have not been able to donate in the past, we hope you will realize the positive impact your contributions can make for the students of Holy Name.
